Wild Dolphin Tour in Sian Ka'an
For the nature oriented, the Wild Dolphin Tour to Sian Ka’an is experiencing a tropical paradise of superlatives. The Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve is home to a variety of rare and spectacular creatures including dolphins, manatees, tropical fish and hundreds of species of exotic birds.
Before we start the Wild Dolphin Tour we will meet our guide arriving at Pesca Maya lodge, where we will receive a short information about Sian Ka’an. For those unexperienced in snorkeling we will give a short introduction, so we will be ready to go out by boat. We start searching for wild bottle nose dolphins, they are the most charismatic and interesting animals. There is a group living permanently in Sian Ka'an. Through 16 years of operation we have found that they would come to see us in the same place almost every time, not for food, but curiosity. Sometimes they are watching us without us watching them, they have an ultrasound sense that allows them to see miles away in the water, like our eyes in the air, while our visibility might be between 10 and 30 feet in the area where they usually are. We have an 90% chance of meeting them in their natural habitat. Have your cameras ready for the most amazing pictures!

Hi Sandra, I just wanted to give a little feedback on our trips. The Wild Dolphin tour was absolutely world class. Pesca Maya a dream of fishing lodge in a beautiful landscape. People are more than friendly, the breakfast great and all in all a more than successful day! If we have friends travelling to Mexico, we will recommend you 1,000% . The only thing we regretted was that we were not swimming in the small bay with crystal clear water, because we really wanted to see dolphins and were afraid that we were running out of time. Maybe you could put this on the end of the tour. But as I said, it was beautiful and a great team in place! But thanks again to you for the arrangements, everything has worked out well! Greetings from a new Mexico fan Maik from Germany
