We will take you south of Tulum to fish the world famous Ascension Bay flats or to the Bocapaila Lagoons, located only 60 miles South of Playa del Carmen.

Variety is the word to describe Ascension Bay and Bocapaila flats. As you can see in the flats-map there are hundreds of square miles where it’s common to see bonefish, permit, tarpon and barracuda in the same day, all year round! With seasons for migrants tarpon and snook. That’s why probably more Grand Slams have been caught here than anywhere else. You certainly have to bring tackle for all this species an at least 3 rods to be ready any time. After reservation we will send you complete tackle list.
The Flats: We can go South and in 15 minutes be in Ascension Bay or if the wind is to hard we can go North and find flats surrounded by mangroves that help to protect. Both places are well known for its bonefish, permit, tarpon, and barracuda abundance ...

Species we fish for:
Bonefish will be found as singles, doubles or multiples, all the way to schools with thousands of fish!
Permit are beautiful, elusive and difficult to hook with flies... Every permit counts, regardless of size!
Tarpon are the most difficult fish to hook and land. These guys are tough! Murphy must have developed his law while tarpon fishing!
Snook are powerful, like to jump out of the water and swim fast into the mangrove roots they call home.
Barracudas are very fast and when it wants something to eat, it succeeds more often than not. Keeps your hands away if you hook one!
