GRAND SLAM REPORT

Tye and I had a wonderful time at the lodge this year.  The August weather was hot and the action was even hotter!  We thought the fishing was amazing when we visited in 2008, but this year was even more outstanding.

It was a trip of firsts for both Tye and me with Tye catching his first Tarpon and me catching my first Permit.  The memory of Tye sight casting to his Tarpon and landing it after a spirited fight will last a lifetime and my Permit was a true whopper that took almost an hour to land.  The Grand Slam on the last day was a perfect way to end one of, if not the most, memorable fishing trips of my life.
